Trial lesson Motorscooter A1
Take the first step to obtain your motorcycle license A1 and book your trial lesson:

What does the A1 driver's license cost?
On average, you need 10 to 15 hours of motorcycle lessons to obtain the A1 license.
Therefore, we have tailored our lesson packages accordingly.
Based on how the trial lesson goes, we advise you to choose either the beginner package or the advanced package.
Which motorbikes can you ride with the A1 motorcycle license?
With the A1 motorcycle license, you are allowed to ride motorscooters with a engine capacity
maximum of 125cc, with a maximum power of 11 kilowatts (kW).
For motor vehicles with three wheels, the maximum is 15 kilowatts (kW).
If you want to ride a more powerful scooter, you need the motorscooter license A2.
Do you need an A1 motorcycle license if you already have a B driving license?
Yes, in the Netherlands you are not allowed to drive on a Motorscooter A1 if you don't have the A1 motorcycle license.
How old do you have to be for the A1 driver's license?
From the age of 17 you can start with lessons.
From the age of 18 you can take the practical exam, if you have passed your theory.
