At Driving School Zero, we offer driving lessons in the Amsterdam, Oostzaan, and Zaandam regions. Both in manual cars and in an (electric) automatic.
With a dedicated instructor, clear explanations, and a pleasant atmosphere, we ensure that you quickly obtain your driver’s license.

Trial lesson driving

Take your first step to get your driver’s license and book your trial lesson.

During the trial lesson you will become acquainted with our driving school and you will learn everything about the car.
You will also practice steering, giving gas, braking and switching.
We close the lesson with a short evaluation and appropriate advice for a possible follow -up.

The trial lesson lasts 1 hour and is free with a package of at least 20 hours.
If you do not continue with us after the trial lesson, the trial lesson will cost € 55 (normal hourly price).

GET YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE IN 5 STEPS

Step 1
REQUEST A CAR TRIAL LESSON

Book a trial lesson online on a day and time of your choice.
After booking you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
You can also call or app for an appointment.

Please note: you can start with driving lessons from 16.5 years and get your driver's license from the age of 17.
you can drive around up to the age of 18 under the guidance of a coach.
BOOK TRIAL LESSON

Step 2
CAR TRIAL LESSON

During the trial lesson you will be introduced to our driving school and we will tell you everything about how the car works.
Then you immediately start steering, accelerating, braking and shifting.
After the trial lesson, we will evaluate and give you advice for any follow-up.

Step 3
DRIVING LESSONS

We get to know each other and tell you more about how the engine works.
Then you jump on the motorcycle and learn how to shift, clutch, accelerate and brake.

We close the lesson with a short evaluation and give you no -obligation advice for a possible follow -up.

Step 4
PRACTICAL EXAM PREPARATION

If you have passed your theory exam and received approval from your instructor, you can take the practical exam.
To maximize the chance that you succeed in one go, we take a test exam in advance.

This means that the instructor simulates a real exam and gives you a grade for it.
You will be sent the points for improvement that come to light.
This way you know what to expect during the real practical exam and what we can still work on together.

Step 5
AUTO PRACTICAL EXAM

After meeting the examiner, the practical exam starts in the parking lot.
You take an eye test and answer a number of questions about the car.
Then the 35 minute practical exam starts.

During the ride, the examiner pays attention to the control of the car, your viewing behavior and whether you control the priority rules.
After the exam you will immediately hear whether you have passed.

WHAT DOES A DRIVER'S LICENSE COST?

To give you an idea: an average student needs 45 hours of driving lessons to obtain a manual driving license.
If you learn in an automatic car, you will need significantly fewer hours, as you do not have to learn how to shift gears.

For us, the most important thing is that you get into the car alone with confidence.
